New IT Programs Launching in September 2023

BIOS College is excited to announce the launch of three new IT programs designed to meet the growing demand for tech professionals in Ethiopia. These programs include Advanced Data Science, Cloud Computing, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.

The technology sector in Ethiopia is experiencing rapid growth, creating a high demand for skilled professionals. Our new programs are designed to address this demand by providing students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in these emerging fields.

Advanced Data Science Program

The Advanced Data Science program will equip students with the skills to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets. Students will learn programming languages such as Python and R, statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.

The program includes hands-on projects and internship opportunities with leading companies in Ethiopia, providing students with real-world experience and industry connections.

Cloud Computing Program

The Cloud Computing program focuses on the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based systems. Students will learn about cloud service models, virtualization, cloud security, and deployment strategies for various cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

This program addresses the growing adoption of cloud technologies by businesses in Ethiopia and across Africa, preparing students for roles such as Cloud Architects, Cloud Engineers, and Cloud Security Specialists.

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Program

The Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning program will cover the fundamentals of AI, neural networks, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision. Students will work on practical projects that apply AI solutions to real-world problems.

This program is designed for students who want to be at the forefront of technological innovation and contribute to the development of AI applications in various sectors including healthcare, agriculture, finance, and education.

Industry Partnerships

BIOS College has established partnerships with several technology companies to ensure that our curriculum remains relevant and aligned with industry needs. These partnerships also provide opportunities for guest lectures, workshops, and internships for our students.

Admission Requirements

Prospective students for these programs should have a background in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Basic programming knowledge is required for all programs, with additional specific requirements for each specialization.

Applications for the September 2023 intake are now open. Early applicants will be given priority consideration for scholarships and financial aid.
